Talented friends from Romney Marsh have produced their first exhibition.

Ben Barton and Jennifer Harris, who both work together in Folkestone, were commissioned by Kent County Council for the exhibition called 'PROSPECT', now showing at the Ashford Library Gallery.

Ben, who is a copywriter, and Jennifer, a photo editor, decided to combine their skills and have been working on the exhibition for the past year.

The display features 25 photographs taken by Jennifer, with 10 poems written by Ben, which are in leaflets for visitors to pick up.

Ben, who has also written a book called ‘The Red Book' said: “We started going to Dungeness for day trips and we really concentrated on the industrial side of it. We are absolutely delighted as it's our first exhibition.”

The pair have already started work on a new project based on Canterbury.

The exhibition at the Ashford Library Gallery will be open Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5pm until Friday October 13.
